I needed a perfect exposure of the outside and inside, but it never works that way due to the difference in ambient light inside and out. After setting up the camera and framing the photo, I made test exposures for the outside. I chose f/11 for good D of F and bracketed my shutter speeds until I had a good exposure. The next consideration was the appearance of early morning light. Since the sun was up high, I had to simulate sunlight. So outside on the deck, I placed a Norman 2000ws power pack with one light head pointed right at the woman. I chose the power pack over a mono light because I needed more power to cut through the window and provide enough light for f/11.  I continued testing until the strobe light gave a nice light quality on her.The content you are trying to access is only available to members.
