blow out due to her being in the sun and him not. As we were shooting, the sun came higher up and we reached a point where it was starting to hit the employee in the top of the head. So I set up my 42” x 78” narrow panel with black backing onto a stand and raised it as high as it would go. Unfortunately the wind began to pick up (at the coast) so one way I deal with this is to un-hook the elastic bands that hold the black material to the panel frame on the bottom, leaving the ones on top hooked. Then the panel is not a ‘sail’ ready to blow over and sort of blows with the wind. You may have to stop shooting and wait for it to settle down, but it works.
