if you think having your own website is not important think again. Surveys suggests 90% of those looking for photographers will first check out their website. If they like what they see they contact the photographer, but if they don’t, you won’t hear from them. I have noticed in recent years that the majority of the people contacting me about a project and for whom I have not worked with yet, always mention at the beginning of the conversation that they just checked out my website and liked what they saw.
