We have discussed in depth the theory and concepts around filtering ambient and correcting for it with filters when using film. Digital however makes it all substantially easier and occasionally more difficult. In essence, we will start by looking at the steps required for correcting ambient light with the White Balance settings. I have found my digital cameras to actually be quite forgiving in respect to color shifts.
