SHOOTING MODES

Your digital camera comes with a variety of shooting modes from Program, Manual, Aperture Priority, and Shutter Priority modes. When working with strobes you only use Manual mode. The reason goes to the previous demonstration showing that aperture controls strobe exposure and shutter speed controls the ambient light. If you are in a dark studio and lighting a subject with your strobes, you are lighting your subject with the strobes and not using ambient light. Because you have chosen to be in a dark studio, then you don’t need the ambient light to help light your subject. So if you chose to use Aperture Priority for example, then the camera will choose a shutter speed The content you are trying to access is only available to members. Sorry.
