People in the Studio

We are asked to photograph people to tell us who they are, what they are like, and we do it by capturing their personality. As humans, we get our impression about a person by responding to the visual stimuli when we see that person. It is human nature to form an opinion of this person based on this visual impression. This human nature response can be an attraction, a repulsion, or curiosity.   As photographers, our job is to photograph people to make them look visually attractive or to photograph them to fit a conceptual idea, such as a model acting in a role.
