Jay Goodrich’s photography goes beyond capturing the moment; he shares a feeling, a fleeting, beautiful moment in space and time that would otherwise be lost. Going beyond the most important tenants of photography, composition, clarity, and light, Jay’s photos also exude emotion and passion. His clients have included fortune five hundred companies, trade publications, magazines and books, graphic designers, architects, builders, commercial printers, and many others. Jay has been published both nationally and internationally with recent clients such as Audubon, Bike, Dirt Rag, National Geographic, Outdoor Photographer, Powder, The Sierra Club, and many more.

Jay writes regular article submissions for Outdoor Photographer Magazine, authors a quarterly column for PHOTOGRAPH Magazine, and is a contributing photographer to Bike and Powder Magazines.

Jay’s fine art prints have hung in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver, CO, The State Capitol of Colorado, Borders Book Stores, and Barnes and Noble Book Stores.

One of Jay’s greatest gifts is his ability to share his great passion for photography with others. He always attempts to effectively communicate the components of one’s art that makes a truly great instructor. Jay most enjoys working one-on-one with individuals in his intimate workshops, because it is possible to see the growth of their photography skills on a daily basis.

When Jay is not traveling the world he spends time with his wife Heather, their daughter Jade, son Micah, and their trusty Samoyed Anya.
