Now that you have begun to discover how the elements of design can lead you to finding subjects. We need to learn about a set of guidelines that can have us arranging those elements in a manner that makes sense. The principles of design can give our viewer the connection needed to linger a bit longer when viewing our photographs once we hit them over the head with our knowledge of seeing subject matter. What is really important here is that these principles are just suggestions. Like we discussed in lesson 1 rules are bad. We also realized that there are multiple solutions to any given problem and that process will continue here. As we head out to photograph we want to carry these principles in the back of our minds. Our work will see significant increases in quality if we do.
