Shooting to Layout

This next catalog shoot was for a company that imports novelties items from Holland that include plates, engraved spoons, salt and pepper shakers, etc. with Dutch themes such as windmills. We had about 8 pages to shoot and in some cases, other photographs from previous catalogs would be used again. So we had to shoot for precise placement in many of our shots AND the same lighting look so they would match. I should mention that this is not that big of a deal anymore with design programs and Photoshop. It is easy for clients to move items around, but it also does not mean that you won’t be asked to shoot to layout. I STILL have clients who do not know Photoshop. The content you are trying to access is only available to members. Sorry.
