When you are setting up an adventure shoot for stock photography, you can go anywhere and shoot anything you want. Here is where you do a lot of the work up front.  Pick a location that you think has marketable potential.  If you subscribe to the outdoor magazines, you will get a feel for the type of coverage and locations they publish. You then go through your idea file and generate a list of ideas and concepts you want to shoot on this trip.  Next arrange the gear (props) and models you will need. The idea is to be very productive because you are spending money on this shoot and it is all on speculation. Here is just a few of the select images from an adventure shoot.  This shoot was for five days and I had volumes of images to choose from.
