Here is a perfect example of moving with the subject. In this case I am neither stationary, nor panning left or right, rather walking backwards. I chose a shutter speed of ½ second for good blur. What I did not do in this photo was use flash. Although I like it and keep it in my photo files, I wish I had used flash for a little more sharpened edge. Out of 100 shots here trying a bunch of stuff, I only got a ½ dozen images that were keepers, the remainder were to blurry. I am convinced that if you do photography to make money, the face on your subject must be relatively sharp. The rest of the frame can be blurry, but if the face is too much of a blurry blob, the photo will be tougher to sell.
