This is a pretty big scene to light. The first thing you should notice is that there is directional light on each person and that is the result of having lights coming from both sides to light their faces and add detail throughout. I have been asked “why not just use overhead light?” The problem with that approach is that overhead light lights the tops of heads, not the front of faces.
