Local Tourism: Think global act local
We all dream of the travel assignment that will take us to the far reaches of the globes exotic lands and cultures and these assignments do exist. But don’t forget to look locally for tourism and leisure clientele. Most states and counties have a local tourism or visitor association and they use a lot of photography. Their budgets may be low, but they do use lots of images. I have completed many assignments for one county visitors association in my area and the pay is quite decent. We have shot skiing, hiking, resorts, town street scenes, holiday festivals, area business’s and lots more.
