Before we move on to using the meter in actual photography, there’s one more important feature on the C-500R that I want to demonstrate. If you want to measure the differencebetween two light sources and determine what that difference is you can use the memory function. Simply measure the first light source and enter that into memory by pushing the memory button.
Then move to the next light source and press the measurement/okay button and the display will indicate the color temperature difference between these two light sources. This is quite useful in helping you determine not only the difference between the two sources, but will also help you determine which light source you may want to favor when setting your white balance.
